Welcome to the International Plagiarism Association

The International Plagiarism Association is an independent body set up to promote authorship and help prevent people using the internet as a medium for plagiarism. Our website provides quick guidance for teachers and lecturers to not only detect plagiarism but also how you as a teacher, can help students from committing plagiarism in the first place. Students can also find quick tips on how they can avoid committing plagiarism themselves.

Because there is such a vast number of resources available on plagiarism, that can be found on the internet, we do not feel the need to rehash what can already be found at a number of very credible and authoritive websites. For this reason our goal is (and what we are primarily interested in is) promoting the goodwill of authorship and creating the awareness of plagiarism on the internet. More information on Plagiarism can be found in our resources section, where we provide links for further reading.

You can help promote our cause by telling your friends, your university, your pears and partners or anyone in the academic industry who also has an active interest in preventing plagiarism on the internet.

If you want to join our association, we welcome this, if you have a website you would liked to be added to our resources section, please e-mail us so we can review it for inclusion.
